SALVATION

Learn what it means surrender your life to Jesus.

FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” - John 3:16-17
All humans, even the “good” ones, are sinners. Sin separates us from God. That separation breaks the heart of God, hurts those around us,
and ultimately separates us from the presence of God now and for all eternity. God sent His Son, Jesus, to pay for our sin. Jesus came to earth,
died on a cross, and was raised to life to save us from sin, give us new life, and bring us into a relationship with God.

How Can A Person Be Saved?

SALVATION IS ABOUT A
RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS

Salvation is about more than what happens to you after you die. It's about more than being religious or a good person. Salvation is about being reconciled to God through
a personal relationship with Jesus. Salvation is about recognizing we are sinners and choosing to repent and follow the path of Christ today and for all our lives.

Through Jesus alone, not only can our sins be forgiven, but we can experience the life changing freedom that comes through Him. Jesus has given us His Holy Spirit to
strengthen us, empower us, and lead us into a daily, growing walk with Him.

Talking to Your Kids About Salvation

We believe that every child is a gift from God and has the capacity to experience the power of salvation in their lives. As a parent, you have the unique opportunity to infuse the Gospel into the rhythms of your home and leverage every day circumstances to teach your children about Jesus.

Along with this short video from our Bethel Kids Curriculum, we have put together this simple guide to help you talk to your kids about the Gospel, salvation, and what it means to follow Jesus.
